Our Translation Program

The Foundation for Inner Peace began translating A Course in Miracles in 1982, helping make the Course available to people in their own language.

Bringing the Course into another language is far more than a translation project. It is a careful process of conveying its meaning faithfully across cultures while preserving the clarity and intent of the original.

A single translation often takes five to seven years to complete, sometimes considerably longer. Every sentence is reviewed, discussed, refined, and revisited—a process requiring patience, insight, and extraordinary dedication.

Translations are also rarely finished. As language evolves and understanding deepens, translations are continually reviewed and refined to help preserve the Course’s meaning for future generations.

Our translators are longtime students of the Course who devote years to this work. We are deeply grateful for their commitment to sharing A Course in Miracles faithfully across languages.

Today, the Foundation for Inner Peace has published the Course in more than twenty-seven languages, making it available worldwide in print and digital formats.
