What is A Course in Miracles?
A Course in Miracles — often called ACIM or simply “the Course” — is a self-study spiritual path in three parts: a Text, Workbook for Students, and Manual for Teachers. At its heart, it teaches a powerful idea: peace returns as we choose a different way of seeing. In that shift of perception, forgiveness unfolds, and our relationships are remembered as holy. While its language draws from Christianity, the Course is not a religion. It’s a universal teaching — one of many paths, pointing toward the same shared experience of love.

How do I Study the Course?
A Course in Miracles is a self-guided pathway. There is no single way to study the Course — only a little willingness is needed to begin. Some read, some listen, some follow the daily lessons. All are ways in. Structure is offered, but never imposed.
How it came, what it is, what it says.
The foundational teaching of the Course. It offers the ideas behind the lessons and enhances understanding.
365 brief daily lessons, designed to be practiced one day at a time. A gradual training in seeing differently through direct experience.
Includes The Clarification of Terms and reminds us that we are all teaching and learning in every moment.
The Course uses familiar words in unfamiliar ways. This section helps you understand what it actually means when it says things like “forgiveness,” “miracle,” and “atonement.”
Additional writings from the same inner voice — including guidance on psychotherapy and prayer that deepen and extend the Course’s teaching.
Start with what you feel. The Course will do the rest.
